I was first elected to South Derbyshire District Council in 2007.
I was also a County Councillor for four years for Woodville. I am pleased to be back again to help in the community. I am also a volunteer Chairman of a local charity which delivers meals on wheels to our older generation via the South Derbyshire Forum.
I also sit on the Board of Governors at the Queen's Hospital, the Police and Crime Panel and a Patient Participation Group at a local GP surgery.
My main interests are campaigning for health and wellbeing of older people. In my spare time I love to sew and I teach sewing weekly at a local venue.
