Biography:

I was first elected to South Derbyshire District Council in May 2007.

I served as a Member for the Hartshorne and Ticknall Ward until 2011.

I was elected in the redefined Repton Ward in 2011 until 2015.

I was chairman of the Authority from 2011 to 2012 Council year.

I sat on the Planning Committee for the whole period and also sat on the Environmental and Development Services Committee during this period.

I became Chairman of the Licensing Sub-Committee in 2012 for that year.

I have been a representative of South Derbyshire District Council on Rural Action Derbyshire throughout this period.  I am also a board member.

I was South Derbyshire District Council representative on the Groundwork Derby and Derbyshire from 2009 until it went into liquidation in 2012.
